SAC has developed a completely new and innovative external rotary – and it is designed for farms with large herds that want to milk fast and efficiently.
The rotary milking parlour is supplied with a rubber floor in the entry and exit area. The floor is good for walking and standing on. The rotary milking parlour is designed with rounded corners to offer optimal comfort for the cow. The rotary milking parlour height is designed to ensure that the cow can see in all directions. Milk lines, hoses and the milking unit are designed to make it easy for the cow to enter and exit.
The milk line is placed directly under the cow's udder. This makes for a short transport route and helps keep milk fat molecules intact – and the milk fresh and sweet. The frequency-controlled volumetric SAC milking pump pumps the milk from the collection tank as slowly as possible to the cooling tank. The system handles the milk with great care.
The milker has everything he/she could wish for: Relaxed cows, which willingly enter the cowshed to feed. Cows on a floor, which can be adjusted to provide the best working height. The milking unit hangs on the milker's right-hand side. It starts automatically when it is swung under the cow. The cow stands close to the milker, which makes preparing the udder, attaching the cluster and starting the milking process easy.
The cow is comfortable and can see all around. The milker can concentrate on preparing the udders, while the IDC milk parlour control unit and the TIM management system control the milking process. The milk monitors milking on the SAC touch screen and reads off data regarding the cows under observation.
